A new Disneyland for Thailand ?

I just found a short news that a well-known Thai liquor billionaire is negotiating with Disney about setting up Thailand Disneyland in Hua-Hin in a 10,000 rai plot of land.

If that is fruitful, I think it 's going to adversely affect the serene beach resort of Hua-Hin. A few ten thousands of additional tourists per day. And the normally-quiet Hua-Hin airport, which only serves as commercial pilot training site, would become very busy and noisy with jetliners. Imagine a few jets touching down the runway every hour to shuttle ten thousands of tourists each day ! That's a nightmare for peace-seeking vacationers and retirees in Cha-am and Hua-Hin area. And the King lives at the Klai-Kangwon Palace not far away from the the airport as well.
