Luangta donated 12,050 kg of solid gold to BOT so far

I found a piece of Thai language news about the latest donation of solid gold to the Bank of Thailand by Luangta Maha Bua. Luangta Maha Bua has kindly done a so much for the Thai people and the Kingdom of Thailand. I think by documenting this news piece in English, we 'll have an online reference here to demonstrate some of his efforts to show the world. Here is my own narration:-

A secretary monk of the venerable Phra Dhamavisudhimongkol (known to the Thai people as Luangta Maha Bua Janasampanno) the abbot of Wat Pa Bantad, Udon Thani province, revealed that a 15th transfer of solid gold (412.5 kg, 99.9 %) to the Bank of Thailand from the Help the Nation Project, as Thai people have donated via Luangta Maha Bua since the past economic crisis, would be ceremonially held on January 9th, 2009, at the main pavillion in Wat Pa Bantad, Udon Thani, and graciously presided by H.R.H. Princess Chulabhorn. For the past 14 transfers, pure gold weighted 11,637.5 kg and cash of USD 10,214,600 had been given to the Bank of Thailand with the aim to help strengthen the country's financial status. This project had been closed, yet people who saw the merit of the project still donated to him therefore the 15th ceremony needed to be organized. This coming ceremony would be another good chance for Thai people to feel pleased with the patriotic sacrifices and unity of the people of Thailand, living inside and outside of the country. With this transfer, the total amount of donated solid pure gold to the Bank of Thailand would be 12,050 kg, worth around 14 billion Baht in current value.
