I watched TV few nights ago: there was an interview of a Mr. Decha Siribhatr, a recognized outstanding exemplar of Suphan Buri, who is a founder of Khao Khwan Foundation (or มูลนิธิข้าวขวัญ in Thai), and the Farmer School โรงเรียนชาวนา. By using organic farming, rice farmers can actually earn money and make a decent living.
I felt like I 'd like to find time to visit the foundation and learn the art of organic rice farming some time in the future.
