Useful tips from Science Authors' workshop in Bangkok (part 3)

Below is a summary from the 4th presentation, mainly about Elsevier and its manuscript processing.

Elsevier uses online end-to-end workflow called EES in the processing of authors' submission, reviewing by referees, manuscript tracking, revision, proof-reading, getting to the article-in-press step, to the end publication (PDF and hard copy)

Elsevier claims that it offers better visibility to scientific papers published in its journals through various online services:-
ScienceDirect
Scirus
Scopus
Embase.com

Several major Thai Universities already subscribe to those.

Some useful Elsevier 's websites
Language editing service (I think there will be some cost, charged by several companies offering the service in the given link)
