Poor choice of logo in the design of a new Thai stamp

I just saw a preview of a new Thai stamp to be released next month (on August 4) on National Communication Day after my kid exclaimed "Internet Explorer stamp !" when she browsed the current issue of Thai stamp magazine. Indeed, the design showed a big letter e encircled with a slanted ring on the right side of the stamp. Why did they choose this ? Isn't that the logo of M$ ? Why did they choose the logo of such a poor web browser. There are several better new browsers out there. Sigh.
