Remembering HTMS Thonburi

Today, 73 years ago (17 January 1941, B.E. 2484), 3 Thai Navy ships were destroyed in a small battle with an intruding French naval force near Koh Chang. Thailand lost 36 naval crews from that incident, including captain of the largest ship, widely remembered, เรือหลวงธนบุรี  HTMS Thonburi.

I feel thankful for them, and will meditate for the brave sailors and officers.
