ผมเลยได้รู้ว่่า ข้าวหนึ่งถัง มีประมาณ 378,000 เมล็ด
นอกจากนี้ก็ได้รู้ว่า ชาวนาไทยส่วนใหญ่ ไม่มีความรู้ โดนพ่อค้าปุ๋ยและยาเคมีล้างสมองไปหมด และจำนวนไม่น้อย เป็นชาวนามือถือ คือโทรสั่ง จ้างคนมาทำ ซื้อของให้มาส่ง จ้างรถมาเกี่ยว เป็นหลัก

ผมมีความสนใจว่า สักวันหนึ่ง ผมจะมีโอกาสได้ไปเข้าคอร์สเรียนการเป็นชาวนาของท่านบ้างที่ศรีประจันต์

Thailand's organic rice farming

I watched TV few nights ago: there was an interview of a Mr. Decha Siribhatr, a recognized outstanding exemplar of Suphan Buri, who is a founder of Khao Khwan Foundation (or มูลนิธิข้าวขวัญ in Thai), and the Farmer School โรงเรียนชาวนา. By using organic farming, rice farmers can actually earn money and make a decent living.

I felt like I 'd like to find time to visit the foundation and learn the art of organic rice farming some time in the future.
